My husband and I take care of the family stables. We own 8 horses and ponies: two ponies, three Quarter Horses and three Arabians, including our new addition, Naheifa BintRasmoniet, foaled 8/12/04. There are 20 horses at our barn, including our eight, five boarders, and the rest belonging to family members. We are really taken with our new filly. She's our first Arabian filly. Naheifa is an Egyptian Related Arabian. Her sire is Rasmoniet EHAP (by Rasmoniet RSI), a Straight Egyptian, Pritzlaff-bred stallion. Her dam is Sweet Legacie, an *Aladdinn granddaughter/*Bask gr, gr, grandaughter. Visit our photo page to view more pictures or Naheifa and some of our other horses. UPDATE: Naheifa turned two years old on 8/12/2006. I believe she's grown taller than her dam already (I haven't officially measured her, just by looking). She's had a saddle on her back a few times & seemed fine with it. I can't wait until she's ready to ride, probably another year or so. She'll be ridden western and, if things go the way I'd like, possibly a reining or cow career. |
